Submitting to Artifice
To submit content to Artifice:

What to submit:
Artifice is a free weekly email list promoting art and culture in Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge and all areas in between. Send in posts about exhibitions, openings, festivals, calls for artists, events, screenings, benefits, auditions, job postings, performances, readings, meetings, artist talks. The focus is on visual & media arts events, and performance arts and literary arts events will be included if space permits.
Submission Guidelines
- Do send your submissions at least a week in advance. Artifice is sent every Thursday morning.
- Do send your submissions in plain text.
- Do not send images — they will not be included.
- Do not send all of the information in an image or PDF — retyping the information for distribution is tedious, and there is no guarantee it will make it into Artifice
- Do include street address and contact information
- Do not assume that people know where your venue is
Note that submissions are subject to editing for spelling, grammar and length. Only excessively long submissions or submissions with too much irrelevant information will be edited. Wherever possible, you will be contacted with the edited submission prior to it being sent.

Artifice is also accepting links for the Similar Services section of the toolbar. If there is a website or mailing list (preferably with a web presence) which is relivant to the Tri-City and surrounding area, please notify us at artifice@e-easel.org
